Public & Media

Beyond individual healing and recovery, we hope that our research and clinical work impacts cultural and societal change. The Trauma Continuum is involved in advocacy and outreach efforts including partnerships with groups of individuals who have lived experience.

Treatment
We provide evidence-based, culturally responsive gold-standard treatment to individuals who are struggling with trauma- and stressor-related disorders and dissociative disorders across a continuum of care, through our partial hospital program (PHP) and outpatient program (OP).

Research
Our researchers are leaders in the science of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and dissociative identity disorder (DID). We conduct numerous cutting-edge, rigorous studies investigating the neurobiology, nature, and treatment of traumatic stress reactions and complex trauma.

Professional Education & Training
We are committed to providing quality education and training to mental health professionals, as well as students and trainees in the mental health fields, who serve and care for clients and populations who have been impacted by trauma.

Outreach & Advocacy
We partner with individuals with lived experience and globally renowned professional organizations to advance science and improve the quality of and access to trauma-focused interventions.
